Kids Vase and flowers

You will need :

  • Popsicle sticks
  • flowers to color (you can draw your own or download from the free coloring sites)
  • Stickers of all kinds and shapes
  • Plastalina or clay
  • sequins
  • felt
  • colored tissue paper
  • crayons or markers
  • Anything else you can think of to decorate your flowers
  • Paper Cup

For the Vase we took a paper Cup and covered it with different stickers. You could paint it if you want to get fancier. You can also use a metal can or pringles can or a jar as shown above.

Once you have decorated your Vase place a medium to large amount of clay or plastalina in the bottom of it to hold the flowers. If you are using a jar you can also use pretty rocks to hold the flowers.

Next color the popsicle sticks green or any color your kids want

I download some flowers and printed them out. You can get the print version of my flowers here or you can do your own.

Then have the kids color, or glue tissue paper such as I did on these

or use sequins or felt as I did on these

or any way you want, puff paint, regular paint. Be creative.

Once the flowers are dry cut them out and glue to the popsicle sticks.

Then put in to your vase that you decorated.

Please share your projects with me in the comments below.

Have fun.
